When you have no health insurance, you should contact an experienced broker (That's what we ate here for!) and allow them to find the most affordable plan for you.

During Open Enrollment, you may be eligible for a large subsidy that can drastically reduce your rate. If you miss Open Enrollment, we can recommend several low-cost options.

Under the affordable care act, you must have health insurance or you will be subject to paying a penalty. You can apply for coverage during the annual open enrollment period (or outside it if you qualify for a special enrollment period).

If you didn't have health insurance before the ACA went into full effect due to premium affordability, you may now be eligible for a subsidy that can be used to reduce your premiums.

I would recommend talking to an experienced broker who can look at options from multiple companies to see which one will be most suitable to your needs and your budget. Please let me know if I can be of assistance.
