   In my opinion everyone should have homeowners or renters insurance. This insurance provides you with money to replace the covered items in the event of a covered lost. It also typically provides liability coverage should someone be injured while on your property or by you when you are away from your property if you are deemed responsible for the damages (exclusions may apply). All policies are written differently so I would suggest contacting a local agent to discuss the coverages available, to ensure that you are covered properly.
