A DUI will not directly affect the rate on your homeowners insurance. It can affect your rate by proxy though. DUI are typically very costly. If your credit score should take a big hit due to the financial consequences of the DUI your rate could conceivably change. To say that your homeowners rate absolutely would not be affected by the consequences of a DUI would possibly not be true.
