Does Home Insurance Cover Pest Control?

    A homeowner’s policy does not cover pest control.  It does cover damage to your residence; however damage from insects is specifically excluded in most policies.  Where a pest issue might be covered is hidden damage to the structure.  You should call your agent and discuss the matter before submitting a claim unless someone has been injured.
