    No, unless the leakage was caused by a covered peril.  A homeowners policy is not designed as a maintenance policy.  It is designed to protect you from natural disasters, fire, and theft.  Even if plumbing was covered you still have your deductible to consider.  It probably wouldn't be worth turning in.

    If your plumbing leaks and causes damage to your property most homeowner’s policies will pay for the damaged property unless it is a repeated or continuous seepage.  In addition they will pay for the reasonable costs of removing those parts of the building necessary to make repairs.  They do not pay for the loss to the plumbing itself, however.
