    No, homeowners insurance does not cover maintenance.  If you have a covered loss the replacement of any damaged electrical components would be included but it will not pay for general electrical work.  Covered loss would be things like fire, lightening, wind, hail, weight of ice and snow.  Check with your agent if you feel your loss may be covered.
