    Unfortunately in most cases it will not. Unless the overflow was casused by a covered peril it would not be covered. Things like this are considered to be part of home maintainance under normal circumstances. Read your policy completely to know what coverage is provided and what exclusions are within the policy or contact your local agent to have them go over the policy with you to explain the coverage and exclusions.
