    Typically at minimum you should have enough coverage to match the amount paid for the premise. I would never recommend the minimum amount of insurance coverage to anyone for any property. Having the bare minimum amount of coverage may save you some money in the short run, but could leave you and your family financially exposed in the event of an accident.
