    That is really a question for your tax accountant/preparer. Based on my own knowledge, education, and experience in the field so far, I would have to say for the average consumer homeowners insurance premiums are not a deductible for their taxes. There may be instances where it is, but the tax laws change from year to year and each persons situation is different.
