   Great Question. Most of the time and insurance company inspects the outside of the house when you buy a new homeowners policy. Typically they look at the roof of the house, outside paint of the house and the overall condition of the house exterior. Keep in mind you have to take care of the house and keep it in good shape to get insurance.
