Yes you can and generally there are other medical problems associated with obesity. However, Prudential has always been the go to overweight life insurance company. Their underwriting protocols are as benevolent as it gets. Keep in mind that associate items are very important to the main concern of height weight issues.

Can you be denied life insurance due to weight?   Absolutely. There are many companies who will not offer life insurance to people who have high BMI scores.  Extra weight carries extra health risks that may not show for years, but then suddenly appear.  Life insurance is math. It is statistics, which can be cold and cruel. Life insurance is a personal product that comes about in a very impersonal way.

You can certainly be denied life insurance with some companies due to weight, but that does not mean you cannot get life insurance at all. There are a handful of companies that do not ask any height or weight questions, so all that matters is that your health fits their guidelines. Whether overweight, obese, or morbidly obese, there are affordable overweight life insurance options out there if you look in the right places.
