    Can you get life insurance with diabetes? Yes, you can get life insurance but the cost is going to depend on how well your control of your diabetes actually is. When I started 25 years ago, diabetes was a quick decline. With the changes in medicine and treatment, diabetes is looked upon on a more individual basis. In other words your good health lowers your cost.
