    Gerber Life Insurance is an A rated carrier that sells both term and permanent coverage.  The Gerber name is well know for baby food and because of that, they have a name in the marketplace that suggests family, safety, etc.  Other than that they are generally involved in the lower tiers of life insurance coverage, and do much of their business through the mail.  They also offer several plans that do not require an exam.

    Yes, Gerber Life Insurance works. Gerber carries several types of policies, and each one has its own unique features. So be sure you are comparing "apples to apples" when you are comparing Gerber policies to the policies offered by other companies. E.g. Don't compare Whole Life to Term Life, check to see how long the rates are guaranteed to remain level, etc.
