Term insurance is worth it! It's the most affordable form of life insurance available to consumers. Prices are cheap, and you are able to purchase large amounts of coverage for a very low premium.

Most major insurers offer term plans and the underwriting process is very simple.

As an experienced broker, we offer the lowest term insurance rates from the highest-rated companies. Independent brokers/agents are able to shop many types of plans with the most respected companies so you pay the lowest prices.

Insurance companies work on the basis of risk over a period of time.  Their calculation for rates meets the state commissioner’s requirement and indicates that the company can fulfill its obligation to pay the death benefit.  Whether the term is short, long or forever, the policy represents a great deal if you die and your beneficiaries make a claim to the proceeds.

That is a great question! If used for the right purposes, a term policy is definitely a great choice. I would not recommend a term policy in some cases, but it is an ideal solution for protecting against a short term debt, or if you need coverage for a specific amount of time. Is term insurance worth it? Well yes and no. If you know the period of time you want coverage say 10 to 20 years. Term works perfectly for a fixed time period. If you need insurance for a longer period of time, term usually isn't a good choice. Rule of thumb term is the best product to cover a short term need, but is a poor choice for a long term need.

That said, term is better than going without. Just look for convertible term. That allows you to convert to another policy later without having to prove insurability.
