Life insurance would not pay out if the policy lapsed and there was no extended term benefit on the policy. Also, if a policy is terminated for non-payment or you simply cancel coverage, a death benefit is not paid.

If you commit fraud, a felony or another similar act,  the insurer will certainly contest the claim.

If you commit suicide within the first 2 years of coverage, insurance will not pay. Otherwise, failing to pay the premium on a term policy will be a reason. With permanent policies, such as EIUL from PFA, missing a payment will not cause a the co not to pay, so long as you have accumulated cash value to cover it. GARY LANE, garylane@cox.net.714 422 9616.
