You can buy term life insurance in many places. But what you prefer should be how you purchase it.

If you like to speak with an agent direct, have a meeting with one of your local agents. If you prefer to handle it all online, their are many websites available to you.

I have found with many clients, that when it comes to purchasing life insurance, the BEST way is to be face to face. It allows you and the agent to discover the right amount that is right for you. Also, many policies have medical exams that must be done. With a good agent, they can help facilitate the process and make it much easier on you.

You are obviously comfortable with the internet, so buying life insurance from an internet website is a good place to start. You can look at quotes instantly on some sites, and input different face amounts and policy types to see how that affects rates. By calling that agency, you will be more certain to get an accurate quote based on your specific health. One internet agency can also shop multiple companies to find you your lowest price.

My suggestion is to find an experienced independent life insurance broker you know and trust. Putting personal information online without being certain of the source is never advisable. I find asking your friends, family and co workers is a great place to start with who they have used in the past. Best of luck!
