Why would you need life insurance. Maybe you don't. Perhaps, in the event of your death (not premature or unexpected of course), your spouse and dependents will be  financially self-sufficient, you will not have any estate taxes and there will be no additional financial concerns (such as loss or reduction of pension payments).

However, if you don't meet that criteria, maybe a quick meeting with a broker will help you realize how cheap life insurance has become!

Why would you need life insurance? Well you really don't. While you can purchase life insurance for your self needs and do fine, most people buy life insurance for somebody else.
Your wife, your kids, when I was young I bought life insurance for my mom. I didn't want her to have the double whammy of my death and going in debt to bury me and clean up my mess.

Really if you can't look and see a reason for life insurance in your life, what kind of life are you living?
