   Yes, many Long Term Care Insurance policies will pay for assisted living costs. They may even pay for custodial care at home if you get a policy that specifies that. Contact a good LTC agent and review all the benefits to be sure that you are getting a Long Term Care policy that can be used for costs beyond just nursing home expenses.
