You can disenroll from Medicare but consider the downside before doing so.

If you disenroll from Medicare Part B and later decide to re-enroll you may have to pay a late enrollment penalty. The LEP is 10% per year for every year you are not enrolled in Part B.

If you disenroll from Part A you may also forfeit your Social Security benefits.
