    Yes, Medigap (aka Medicare Supplements) generally cover pre-existing conditions for Medicare approved expenses. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requires that all plans (A-N) provide a set of standardized benefits. For example, all Medigap Plan F Supplements have the same mandatory benefits regardless of the Insurance Carrier. Carriers may also offer optional benefits like Silver & Fit, Silver Sneakers, 24 Hour Nurse Hotline, etc.
