    Medicare does not cover Jevity or other enteral nutrition formulas except in extreme cases and with extensive documentation of the need for that type of therapy. The patient must have a permanent disease of the bowel that prevents nutrition taken any other way. Taking Jevity for purposes of depression, end stage disease, or other causes are excluded.
