    Yes, but for certain types of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) - this is covered under Medicare Part B. The covered screenings include tests for chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and Hepatitis B and can be done once every 12 months.

    If your doctor accepts assignment (accepting the Medicare-approved amount as payment in full), then you will not be charged for the screenings.
