    No, Medicare Part B does not pay for the shingles vaccine (Zostavax vaccine). All Medicare Part D plans are required to pay for the shingles vaccine. Many physicians do not stock it, but can give you an order for the Zostavax vaccine that you can take to a pharmacy that will administer it for you. You will be responsible for the co-pay.
