    Yes, Medicare Part D does pay for shingles vaccine. The amount of copay / coinsurance you have to pay for the vaccine depends on your particular Part D Prescription Drug Plan. Medicare Part and and B do not pay for the vaccine to prevent shingles (herpes zoster or zoster).
