Medigap plans are a supplement to original Medicare. Any Part A or Part B claim approved by Medicare is covered by Medigap (subject to your plan deductible, coinsurance and copay if any).
Long term care is generally not covered by Medicare and would not be covered by Medigap. In some situations Medicare will pay for a stay in a SNF (skilled nursing facility) or rehab unit.
