    Obamacare does not eliminate Medicare but it does reduce current and future funding for Medicare.

    The argument is, by "bending the cost curve" savings will magically be generated that result in the program requiring fewer operating funds.

    Sounds good, but it doesn't work that way.

    Bending the cost curve is attained by paying providers less and shifting more of the cost of care to Medicare beneficiaries.
