   Government subsidies for Medicare Advantage have been frozen at the 2010 level for the past years, and under the Affordable Care Act, are anticipated to be reduced gradually until about 2019, when they are to be brought in line with what traditional Medicare. The % that Medicare Advantage plans receive from the government is usually reported as an average of 12-14%, although some sources say lower and some say higher.
