    If you itemize your tax return deductions, and your out of pocket (deductible, coinsurance, unreimbursed medical expenses) and you meet the guidelines for deductibility, you may be able to write off a portion of the Medicare deductible that you actually paid.

    If you are self employed you may also be able to write off some or all of your out of pocket expenses.
