    Medicare usually starts at age 65 BUT there are exceptions. Those on disability at any age may qualify for Medicare.
    You can also delay the start of Medicare until a later age if you wish. it is becoming more common for those turning 65 to accept Part aA of medicare but delay Part B because they have a corporate health plan. Multiple variable which is why it is always good to meet with a professional to review your options.
