   Medicare HIB is Medicare Part A which the beneficiary is entitled to due to ESRD (end stage renal disease). 
   
   Part A is hospital coverage and entitles you to full inpatient coverage for Medicare approved treatment and claims. Under some situations you are also entitled to treatment in a SNF (skilled nursing facility), rehab and hospice services.
