   There are several taxpayer funded assistance programs for low income Medicare beneficiaries. If you qualify for Extra Help, your Medicare Part B premium is paid for you under QMB, SLMB, or QI programs. 
   
   All 3 assistance programs will pay your Medicare Part B premium. Some will also pay your Part A, deductibles and coinsurance.
