    There are 11 standardized Medigap plans, each designated by a letter (A, B, C, D, F, Hi deductible F, G, K, L, M, and N. The insurance coverage in each plan is different, and premiums are normally adjusted accordingly. Plan F happens to be the most comprehensive in terms of coverage, and will typically have the highest premium out of the 11 plans. Plan C has the same coverage as Plan F with one exception - Plan C does not cover Part B excess charges. It is a good idea to find a licensed insurance agent who is experienced in Medigap plans to assess your needs and objectives and review optimal solutions with you.
