   Medigap or also called Medicare Supplements are plans offered by private insurance companies designed to pay the deductibles and coinsurance of original Medicare.  The amount of coverage depends on the plan you choose.  Plan F is the most comprehensive providing virtually 100% coverage for Medicare covered expenses.  It is also the most expensive.  All Medicare Supplements are standardized and offer the same coverage.
