It occurs each year from October 15 thru December 7. During this time period you can switch your current Medicare Advantage Plan to another Medicare Advantage Plan for next year as long as you don't have ESRD. If you have a stand alone Prescription Drug Plan you can switch your drug plan during AEP for next year. You can change your Medicare Supplement Plan anytime you want to as long as you are insurable, can pass medical underwriting.Answered on August 15, 2016flag this answer
