    Most of the U.S.
    People who are eligible for Medicare in Connecticut are those who have paid into Medicare for at least 10 years through Social Security taxes and:
    1) Turned age 65,
    2) been on Social Security Disability for two years,
    3) have end stage renal disease, and/or
    4) have ALS.

    There are guidelines, additions, and exceptions for all of the above that you can find at www.medicare.gov.
