    Hearing aids are not covered by Medicare because they are not seen as "medically necessary". Therefore, Medicare Part A and B do not pay for hearing aids, or the fitting of hearing aids. Some Medicare Advantage plans may have some benefits for hearing exams and appliances to improve hearing. You would need to check with your plan to determine that.
