Will Medicare Go Away?

   There are no plans for Medicare to go away in the foreseeable future. In fact, any minor changes that are suggested - such as delaying eligibility from 65 to 67 - would only affect people under 50. The reasoning behind that is that people 50 and older have already paid into the system and have planned their retirement on having medicare.
