   I would have to say no. A renters policy is typically written for an married couple or an individual. If you moved you would have to secure a new policy based on the information about the new residence. The same would hold true for the person moving into the premise that you are currently renting. When they move in, they will have to secure a new renters policy based on the property information and their personal information. Insurance is not one size fits all. It is tailored to the individual. Remember every policy is different please read your policy completely to know what coverage is offered and what exclusions there may be or contact your local agent to have them go over the policy with you.
