    Yes, Renters Insurance pays for Loss Of Use in the event you cannot live in your rental unit because of a covered peril.
     
    The limit of insurance is 30% of whatever the contents limit is.  For example, if you purchase $50,000 of contents coverage, your limit of insurance for Loss Of Use is $15,000.  If you want more, you can buy more.
