Most renters’ policies provide coverage for personal property away from the residence.  The amount of coverage is usually a percentage (10% being common) of the personal property limit.  There are additional coverages that can be added for high value items, such as jewelry.  That coverage extends to the full value of the identified property, all the time, anywhere and without a deductible.
