Obtaining Renters Insurance is simple and quick!  There aren't too many questions to answer and there are just a few points to look out for!

If you are renting an apartment, a house or a townhouse/condo,  you would qualify to purchase a renters insurance policy.   If the landlord has required you to purchase the insurance, it is important to find out whether the landlord wishes to be listed as an 'Additional Insured' on the policy;  if so, you would need to ask how the Additional Insured clause would read (i.e.  Name, Address, Account #  etc...)

If you are simply looking for the Cheapest Renters Insurance,  you would request the minimum available Personal Property Coverage, the minimum available Personal Liability Coverage, and the maximum Deductible available.   This would generate the lowest premium.

On the other hand, if it is your desire to assure that all your belongings including artwork, jewelry, furs and additional high value possessions are sufficiently covered, you would need to speak with a licensed representative to assess whether the policy has available options to extend coverage to provide what you would need; or if perhaps, an additional Personal Article Floater may need to be purchased.

There is a link providing an online format to obtain a quote and buy renters insurance online in multiple States; it may be used directly by consumers. An exemplary online experience for all!   http://hda.stillwaterinsurance.com
