A commercial renter’s policy is designed for a business.  The type of business makes a great difference in the premium.  Some businesses operate on a slightly different type of policy that provides coverages unique to their business, for example, jewelry stores.  The traditional policy is called a business owner’s package and it provides coverage for contents, liability protection and other miscellaneous coverages.  Because businesses vary so much there isn’t an average policy.  I do know that an insurance agency costs around $600 per year for a small office and range much higher as the business operation is larger.
