    Most agree that a renter’s policy is inexpensive.  The policy is normally written on an annual basis and the use of a monthly payment is a convenience.  The premium is determined by evaluating the location, and the amount of coverage desired.  This is compared with “standard rates” and adjustments are made by the underwriter to “personalize” the policy to your needs.
