    Generally yes, 20-30 days, but not always! Check with your insurance professional.  And understand that a grace period is not free insurance.  If you have a claim after the expiration of your policy, your premium must be received by the insurance company within that grace period for coverage to be provided.  For example, if you have a claim 2 days after the expiration of your policy, there is no coverage until the premium is received by the company prior to the end of the grace period.
