Renters Insurance covers the Personal Property of the Insured Tenant, offers Loss of Use for a covered hazard and provides Personal Liability for the Insured Tenant and resident family.   The Renters Insurance Policy is commonly known as a Form HO4 and is available in all States.

Renters Insurance is mandatory in a few States where the Government has been faced with an unusually high number of law suits thus inundating the legal system;  in other States, you will find some Landlords require tenants to purchase the insurance to provide a layer of protection for the possible negligent acts of a tenant causing property damage to the building, property of other tenants or inadvertent bodily injury to others.

The possession of Renters Insurance is a display of genuine responsibility for one's personal property and protection for others.   Renters Insurance Online is available online in multiple States at the following link:  http://bit.ly/1954BTO

In order to produce a lower premium, it is recommended only to purchase the minimum amount of Personal Contents coverage to sufficiently replace the personal property of the insured and to select a high deductible. This combination will generate a comparatively lower premium;  renters insurance is written for an annual term and is fairly inexpensive.
