Renters Insurance is very inexpensive.  Shopping around at different offices is highly recommended.  What I like to be sure everyone is aware of is the type of Renters Insurance available.

You really want to get the "replacement cost" v. "current value".  Think about what your TV is worth today if you were to sell it versus purchasing a new one.  You will pay a bit more but will be well worth it IF an event was to occur ruining your possessions.

Lastly, write down what you have, video tape on your phone is a great way to save it.  This way you don't have to dispute what you actually have if you have to file a claim.
