I am moving to Nevada and I must have renters insurance there. But I would like to know if there are companies that cover the entire U.S. no matter where you choose to move to?

Renters Insurance is available for tenants in all States. Renters Insurance Policies cover personal property, additional living expenses, personal liability and medical payments to others. Renters Insurance can be purchased by tenants renting houses, apartment units, condos and townhomes.

Renters Insurance is transferrable from one rental unit to another when the insured moves; however, it is not transferrable across State lines since policies need to be rewritten according to State Department of Insurance regulations which are different in each State.

Stillwater Insurance Group offers the most affordable options for renters; there is also an online self service renters insurance platform available directly for clients' use: http://hda.stillwaterinsurance.com

Using the above link, you may obtain a free quote and purchase your insurance contract directly online. For further questions regarding any details, you may contact a licensed representative at: (877) 931-3368.

Because the regulation of insurance is a state responsibility a different policy must be selected any time you move to a different state. Many companies operate in most or all of the states so this doesn’t have to be a big problem just call your insurance company to determine if they can cover you in your new place and they will arrange for an agent to contact you.
