The answer here is typically yes. Over the past decade or so carriers have built sufficient billing capabilities to handle debit or credit card payments. Note to yourself that credit and debit cards can be used or limited in an important way. Some carriers will allow the down payment on new polices to made on a credit or debit but not subsequent billings. Other companies will allow and are set up to make recurring credit or debit transactions. There is an ease of doing the recurring credit card transactions, however try to remember to advise every such authorized party in the event that your credit card account or number changes.

While we discuss this let me point one simple thing you can do to stay on top of credit cards,Put them on a scannable device and make your self a copy of both front and back. This can assist you if your wallet is lost or stolen.

Every insurance company is different, but generally speaking, most companies will accept credit cards. However, the ones that do accept credit card payments may or may not accept the card the your are trying to use. So in short, you can usually use a credit card to pay for for insurance, but just contact your local insurance professional or carrier to make sure. Thanks for asking!

Talk to your Insurance Professional about the payment options offered by your Auto Insurance Company. These days, most companies offer a wide variety of payment plans to best suit their policyholders needs. Quite a few offer the ability to pay by bank card as an option. In some cases, your billing account may even be able to be set up for recurring bank card payment processing. This means that each month, with your permission, your insurance company would automatically bill your bank card of choice to automatically process your insurance installments. It is very possible that your insurance company offers this or something like it.
