   Yes generally they do take health insurance depending on the procedure, however you will need to check with your local planned parenthood and give them the insurance you have as well as your member number to assure correct billing. To even be more clear you can also check with your insurance provider and they will most of the time give you the doctors they are affliated with and also depending on the insurance provider you might have to see your primary doctor for the referral first.
