    Corporations can buy annuities as long as the issuing company allows that particular annuity product to be owned by a corporation.

    However, a corporate owned annuity is not tax deferred. At one time it was, but the IRS changed this rule. 

    Corporations use annuities to fund corporate benefit plans, and to just accumulate assets for the future.
